" My New Bike "

Well not yet. And maybe not ever. But this is the bike that I've been dreaming of.
I am hoping that I get it for my birthday!

Isn't she a beauty?

Okay Miss Angela Lansberry (sp) it really is a beauty. Actually Di mine isn't as nice but is quite similar and I love being able to ride mine during the summer months. I prefer it to driving.
Hope you do get it for your birthday.....:-) Hugs

It's beautiful, Di...
I hope that your wish comes true.
I had been riding mine...until I got sick. I'm still having some problems...and may have to end up going to the doctor....drat!
Hopefully I'm going to get back on my bike and pedal some more. Hope to see you on 'the bike trail' soon.
Love,
Jackie

I love it. Last summer I got a new bike. My kids think I am nuts. My bike is a huge blue adult tricycle. I absolutely love it.

Nice! I'd love a bike, but where I live is so hilly, rocky, that I'd have to have heavy-duty everything, mostly tires. And even if I got what I need, I'm not sure I could make it up some of these hills! sighhhh.

Have a great weekend!

HI DI-

A beautiful bike, indeed. I had to trade my purple bike in for my rollator - it's all good though - I have a hron on it AND now I am going to have two rollators, one for banging around outside with Gracey-Blue and one to keep in the car for when I go out and about. Enjoy your bike when you get it.

Love to you
Gail
peace.....

She is beautiful! And that would be my dream bike too! I hope you get it!
Are you leaving any hints around? And if you don't get her, I say go out and gift yourself a new bicycle for your birthday! You deserve it.
What will you christen her?

Love to you,
Eileen

PS ~ I tried to comment on some previous posts but wasn't able to and I just wanted to say that Jack looks like a little clone of your son Frank! And you did a great job with the scanner and I think it's a very romantic gift!

Hope you get your bike--bet you will!! I'm thinking I should take up bike riding this spring--I need to add something to my exercise routine.

Hope you get your bike Di, We'll have to start calling you Golden Rod, or the Girl With The Golden Bike.

You have a great weekend.

Thanks everyone!
I have been hinting nearly everyday now. And if I don't get it as a gift than I will gift it to myself!
And Jules, I was actually looking at the trikes, they are so nice, but our roads are pretty old and narrow.
I am keeping my fingers crossed!
Love Di

Diana, I sure hope you get that bike...I need a basket like that on mine.

We all should pick a day and time this summer, ride our bikes and then blog about it on the same day. Gail could do the same with her rollator. There is a bike trail that goes through our town and a local icecream shoppe rents bikes as well. I mostly just ride mine around here at home.

Wait? Are there really bikes like that out there? New ones? I have not seen a new bike with a rear carrier and basket for awhile. I like it! You probably had better put a mirror and horn on your wish list as well. My bet is that if you tell enough people and the right people you will soon be peddling all over town.

Enjoy. Cuppa and I got bikes and did a lot of cycling a few years ago. We'd cycle almost 30k on most days and once did about 90k. We've slipped in the past few years but still get out periodically.

I've caught a good case of bike-envy! Look at those white-walls!

Actually, my sweet newly painted old bike will serve me just fine - if the snow ever stops coating our front sidewalks!

I agree with Wanda - come spring, let's pick a day, bike, and post about it!

I'm crossing my fingers with/for you, Di. Hope your dreams come true.
