" I'll Admit It , I'm Envious ! "

My eldest daughter, Ginny, thinks me silly.

Perhaps corny.

Maybe a little old school.

Probably very old school.

But I don't care.

What I really am is envious .
She blogs about happenings in the Raleigh North Carolina area.

She recently blogged about " The Raleigh Ringers ".

A hand bell orchestra that I would love to see in person.

She , while she has the ability to see them in concert,
has never done so.

What a waste. What a shame. Shame on you Ginny !

You must go see The Raleigh Ringers !

I must go see The Raleigh Ringers !

I find them fascinating.

Perhaps someday I will be fortunate to go see
The Raleigh Ringers.

In the meantime, Forgive me.
I am envious.

Beautiful, Di!
I'll have to have Ray listen to this. He loves bell ringers! We usually watch a Christmas Special on PBS with bell ringers. I wonder if it's the Raleigh Ringers?

And, YES, Ginny, go see them! Enjoy!

Thanks, Di, I really loved this!
Lots of love to you!, E

I also love to hear bell ringers. I heard a high school bell ringers group on PBS last week--not as great as the Raleigh Ringers but very beautiful. I'm always fascinated with how they co-ordinate all the sounds. Thanks! And yes, Ginny, go see the bell ringers!

I listened to the whole presentation, Di and it was very nice. In defense of Ginny, I must say that I have found so many people who live near such great inspirational and interesting things, yet never go see them (like Michael living here all this time and never going to Fernbank Museum, White Water, the Atlanta Zoo, to name a few, till after we got married), thinking always that they are nearby and will do it one day. But I'm on your side because we should take advantage of all the wonders around us whenever we can!!

blessings and hugs,

marcy

Good morning Di, I really liked the music, I don't believe I've ever seen the Raleigh Ringers, but have enjoyed other smaller groups of bell ringers. The Raleigh Ringers were great, Ginny is missing a fun experience, she should think of going!
Love,
Wanda

Outstanding! Now I'm envious, too!
(I played in a handbell choir my freshman year of college. There are so many new techniques these days - but even then, it was great fun!)

Now, wait just a minute! Am I getting this right? She blogged about them but won't go to see them? Corrective actions needed, Mom. :)

My wife would love to see them as well. In Crystal Falls she played in the bell choir at the Church.

OK, this is UNFAIR. If my mom was able to go see the Raleigh Ringers with me, then I would totally go. But I'm not going to pay for tickets and go without my mom and then be like "mom, guess what, I saw Raleigh Ringers last night, they were awesome." I would feel so GUILTY. I'd rather wait for the time I can take my mom to see them with me so we can see them together. I love you, mom!

Awwww, Ginny, how sweet of you to want to wait till you can go with your mom!!

Awww, isn't my girl so sweet? And only 18 more days until I get to see her! I love you too Gin!
Love Di, Mom

Hi Diana!
Aren't bell choirs just incredible!
My oldest, Amanda, participated in one for a couple of years... No one can be missing from the choir, every bell is needed! Lots and lots of practice :)
it was beautiful and she loved it~
It's such an elegant instrument!
It's so merry ~
blessings always * Maria

I'm thinking you should become a ringer! Why not! The time is perfect! One of my friends does this and totally loves it.

Wow they are amazing! Yes that is something to be envious of! I would see them in a heartbeat if I were close to where you are! Make it a Christmas present to yourself!
