" Changes "

Well I did it. I was getting a little bored with my previous blogger background and decided to change it. Change is good and inevitable. I could not have done it without my daughter Ginny and her boyfriend Daniel. Two people who are very well versed in computer lingo!

I searched for weeks for a background previous to their arrival. When I came across this particular background not only did I really like it but it was so freaky coincidental that I knew I had to have it. I will explain. The name of the background is "Aunt Belles 1950's Tablecloth". Here's the freaky part. I have this exact tablecloth that was given to me by my husbands aunt. Can you guess the rest? Her name was Isabelle, and all of her nieces and nephews called her Aunt Belle! Life is stranger than fiction, which is why I love reading non-fiction over fiction. By the way there is a very good movie called " Stranger than Fiction " starring Will Ferrell, who I am not overly fond of but an excellent movie non the less.

It has been a wonderful yet exhausting weekend. I have many pictures and stories to share but am much to tired to share them now. Stay tuned for all the skinny!

Hi Bernie, My knee is o.k. I have had to take a few pain pills for it and my hips over the weekend but they got me through. This background was not as easy as it said it was so I literally could not have done it without Ginny and Daniel!!!

Diana, how perfect your blog is! What a wonderful find, it gave me chills! I LOVE IT!
And I'll be EXTRA happy to visit here each day. I always thought your blog was so pretty anyway, but you know how much I love vintage so your background draws me right in, and then your beautiful story connected to it!
I also like the welcome picture at top, is that one you took yourself or did you find that too?

I can't wait to hear all about your weekend and your family visit!
Rest up now, and come back and tell us all about it!

Hi Eileen, I'm glad you like the change and the picture is one that I took of my desk in my bedroom. I wanted to have some of my favorite things on there! Thank you!

Hi Brenda, I'm glad you like the new look. My daughters boyfriend designs web sights for a living so he and my daughter who blogs for a living did all the work. I just told them what I wanted!

Hi Diana,
I love 'stranger than fiction' episodes myself, and I have had a quite a few of them in my life also. It really gives life a feeling of "wow!" and the wonder of it is so exciting. I love your new look, and it is 'perfect', and when things like the significance of your new background happen you just know that you know they are right. I am excited to hear more about your weekend! Sorry to hear about your knee...hope it gets better soon.
((((hugs))))

Diana, are you ok? I am so sorry, I must have missed something, did you catch a bug? Yes I love the new look. And your beautiful dresser! Love the story behind the wallpaper on your new look! OH and the answer to the picture ??, whenever I write a post I write what I want to say, then add my pics one at a time. I choose either left or right on where the pic is to be placed and then it is uploaded, I go to the top of my post and the written picture script I highlight, then cut and paste it into where ever I want in the written body of the post. I then preview it after each pic to see if it looks right. Sometimes it works, sometimes not, that is why once in a while you will see my words down the middle of the page one letter at a time! I just keep playing with it!
