" Diana's Household Diaries. Finding Humor Through Troubling Times."

Thanksgiving Day conversation.

Youngest daughter says sarcastically to oldest daughter,
" We're going to have so much fun going through all of mom's crap when she dies."

To which oldest daughter replies in a bubbly voice while smiling,
"Yeah I know, I can't wait!!!".

Enough said.

Heh, heh!! Before I moved here and downsized a bunch, I made a statement to my son that I was not going to worry about trying to clean out and organize things, that I was going to just leave it for the kids to deal with. His reply: "No problem, Mom. Some gasoline and a match will take care of it all." LOL!

I send you great big hugs and a reminder that I think of you often.

Oh I know lol
I have so many souvenirs of my life. I want to create boxes for each person I want to leave them to.
Hopefully by then with the letter I leave them, they will understand why they got what they did and why it was special just for them. Hopefully they will treasure the things I loved.

Were they stirring something into your drink at the time? Seriously, I have thought about you and whatever it is that you are going thru.

Diana - I know they must have been kidding around when they said that but I can't find any humor in it.

Maybe because yesterday was the anniversary of my Mom's death or well not sure. My brother and sister never kidded around about that.

I hope everything will be better soon, I'd give you a hug if I could.

I have to admit, I don't think what they said was humorous... I know our things are most precious to us, and others may see them as junk, but still, people can respect the person who owns the items. I do know your daughters love you. Once I asked my daughter if she wanted any of my things and she said she had enough junk already! That woke me up! Hope you are doing okay in spite of everyday trials.

This made me chuckle. The things kids say sometimes.

I hope the new year brings you peace.
