" And I'm Off "

It is a rainy and cool morning here today this Thursday. This does not surprise as it is nearly always rainy or cloudy on Thursdays. I clean house for a wonderfully warm family on Thursdays . I have been doing this for them for about three years, with a little break in between.

It is much easier to clean when it is sunny out as you can see the dirt better! So it is raining. But I won't let that stop me from finding those little dust and dirt balls. They cannot hide from me.

I am SUPER CLEANING LADY !
So watch out dust-balls , Diana is on the way !

My prayer for you is that no matter what you do today , the sun shines on you.
But if not , keep your chin up and your umbrella handy , God is with you.
Amen!

This was sweet, Diana!
I know what hard work cleaning is , but you are in your element here! They say the best job to do is one you love!
Wish I could get half your enthusiasm for cleaning!

It's actually a perfect Fall day here today. I have Mia coming in a little while so I think I'll take her out to the park.
Have a good day, Di, don't work too hard!
Love you, E

Hey Jackie!
Thanks for the smile today! You are right, I do take pride in all that I do. Even cleaning toilets! Is there any other way to be? I always believed that you should do something right the first time. I have tried to instill this in my children as well. So far Katie's not getting it! AArrrgggg!!!!

Hi Eileeny!!
I really do love to clean. It just irritates the crap out of me when people don't respect the hard work that I put into it, hence part of my "Why" post!
I think that Mia will be looking forward to a little one on one time with Umma! Have fun together.

Hi Teresa,
Oh no I love headbanger music! Led Zeppelin is my favorite followed by AC/DC well I could go on and on. I love all types of music even opera! But I grew on with those bands and I do still love them. Also swing music, jazz, rap oh just about anything!

Hi Bernie,
My cleaning family are very generous people. I know that they appreciate what I do. And I feel very at home there!
I am feeling so much better today, thank you Bernie! I cleaned like crazy today and plan on concentrating on my own house this weekend as Jake won't be home. He's in Virginia right now!

The sun is not shining here today Diana...so I guess I won't clean since I can't see those dust bunnies...anymore I should wear my reading glasses too when I clean so as not to miss the smears and smudges on those tiny knobs and buttons that's on everything...especially around computers and tv's.
Loud music does go good with housework...helps keep one in a good mood, like that song Don't Worry Be Happy. Mopping With Music would be a good name for a cleaning company

Luv and Smiles,
Wanda

You go girl...when I clean I like to REALLY clean and just like you, if it's toilets or whatever why not do a great job of it?

Love your attitude.

Michael would be jamming right with you on the 'heavy metal' whereas I like almost everything but really like rhythmic dance music.

blessings and hugs,

marcy

Hi Marcy,
Well there you go, maybe you should take a dance class too! Art and Dance, what a great combo! I'm sure Michael would enjoy the dance part!

Hi Janine,
Thank you, you are so sweet. The truth is that I love to work, I know it's strange. But it makes me happy. Unless of coarse the arthritis is bad, today was a good day!

If the only reason for sun was to see the little dust balls may it always be cloudy because I don't want to see them.

Hi Dr. John,
Excellent point, I love it!

I could use you here, Diana! Meanwhile, thanks for asking about and praying for my husband. He saw the cardiologist today (earlier than we expected!) The C. changed a couple of meds, did blood work to rule out thyroid, and a heart ultrasound which said the blood is pumping at "low normal" rate. He will go back on the 29th. If the heart rate hasn't settled down, they may shock the heart to see if they can get it back to normal.

We're so thankful for a good doctor and praying/hoping that the heart rate will settle down without the shock.

Hi Diana! I wish I had your energy and enthusiasm (thank you Eileen) for cleaning! I have to say with a smile though...the last time I mopped the kitchen floor...I was thinking of you ;) See what an impression you've made on me? A very sweet post and sweet sentiments....and that is the hard part...when no one appreciates it..(that's what takes the enthusiasm out of it :)
I'm sure the house that you're cleaning will be spotless when you get done!
Don't work too hard!
Love You....Jerelene

Hi Rebecca,
I have no doubt that your husbands heart will return to normal. With good care, a loving wife and a loving God to back him up, what more is there. Oh I forgot, our faith. I will be praying for you both Rebecca.

Oh and I wish I were there for you too as I have been a cleaning machine lately! I would love to help you if I could Rebecca. God's blessings to your family.

Hi Jerelene,
Ah the never ending job of being a housewife! Yes I really do love to clean and I despise dirty floors. I was taught as a young girl that "cleanliness is next to Godliness ", I really do believe that it stuck in my head! I think I am a little over the top with it but it is what it is! My embroidery would say " Cleanliness is Next to Godliness"!
