" An Eight Question MeMe "

One of my fellow bloggers, Marcy from " Blessings Each Day " has tagged me with a MeMe.
Being the extremely interesting and fascinating person that I am, I just knew that you would all want me to answer these questions so that you can finally put your curiosity to rest.

First I thought it would be a good idea for you to have a visual of me. Since this is all about me after all !

There, now that you have a good idea of how I look on a daily basis, lets continue on shall we ? I know that you are anxious.

The Eight Question MeMe

1. Six names that you go by.

1. Mom

2. Di

3. Diana

4. Mrs. Siebels

5. That crazy lady that lives down the street.

6. Bitch , it's not what you think . After twenty years of marriage, the biggest arguments that my husband and I get into anymore are short. He calls me a bitch, I call him a bastard and then it's done !

2. Three things that you are wearing right now.

1. My tee shirt that say's " Sorry, mind closed until further notice.

2. Dark blue sweatpants, yes I am the fashion statement !

3. My black comfy slippers.

3. Three things that you want very badly right now.

1. I want my husbands pain to go away.

2. I want my husband to feel good enough to go back to

3. A hot tub.

4. Three things that you did last night/yesterday.

1. Ran all over town trying to get FMLA and supplemental insurance forms filled out and faxed.

2. Bought dog and cat food at Wal-Mart.

3. Watched " Dancing with the Stars
" then went to bed.

5. Two things that you ate today.

1. Nothing it's only 7:10 a.m.

2. Does coffee count ?

6. Two people that you last talked to on the phone.

1. My daughter-in-law, Amy.

2. My daughter Katie, the phone is m
y tracking device.

7. Two things that you are going to do today/tomorrow.

1. Go to church to do some office work.

2. Work on Katie's quilt.

8. Your three favorite beverages.

1. Diet Coke.

2. Water

3. Merlot

Now, I am supposed to choose five other people to pass the MeMe along to. But, since I don't feel like obligating anyone this morning, I have decided to just let you take it if you want to.

So if you are reading this just consider yourself tagged !

Tag your it !

Fun learning more about you - Diana. I would feel SO at home sitting at your kitchen table. I, too, wish your husband was no longer in pain. I hear this doesn't go away quickly. (I know some people who say they got relief from their shingle pain at a chiropractor.)

I'd like one of those T-shirts like you're wearing! (The black slippers looked comfortable, too.)

I demurely pass on the "tag". *smile* Thanks, anyway.

Hi Rebecca,
It would be fun having coffee together and then a little thrift shopping. Well maybe a lot of thrift shopping! Love Di

Hi Bill,
Thank you for the well wishes. My husband is in quite a bit of pain still and is trying not to be cranky!

Hi Linda!
I have been thinking about you and have meaning to email you but I have been running around like a chicken with it's head chopped off! I will email you tonight. Jake is horrible. I mean the pain! There's nothing that I can do and I feel helpless. I am just praying for this to pass quickly. Love Di

And now we know a little bit more about you.
Tell your husband that at least he isn't pregnant. I hope the pain ceases soon.

Hi Dr. John,
Jake said he would want to be pregnant! He's a pretty tough guy. I've never seen him in this much pain before. Just wish there was more that I could do.

Me again, Diana, to say I feel so badly about your husband and a little guilty for taking such pleasure in our drive while others wish so badly they were able....

Gary still feels OK. It's just that when he takes his blood pressure and his heart rate registers on the meter, we KNOW something is not right. He sees the cardiologist on the 29th. Hope that's soon enough. If his BP goes any higher, our family doctor said to call the cardio.

Thanks for asking & praying when you think about us - as I do for YOU & Jake.

Hi Rebecca,
Don't feel guilty, this was just something that popped up. I knew that your husband was going to the doc soon but couldn't remember the date! I hope that all that is needed is different medication. No shocking! But we will all just keep praying. Thank you for thinking about us Rebecca.

Diana, you made me laugh again...After reading your 6th name and what you also call your husband(pet names of course) well, in the photo of you both, I couldn't help but think you were calling each other your pet names while smiling for the camera!

Fun post washerwoman!

Luv and smiles,

Hi Di....Did you think I'd gone off and left you? I've been away all day...and it's nighttime and I haven't gotten to all my friends' blogs YET...sigh. I popped in for a quick peek this afternoon just before I left, but wanted to read it again.....and comment on how wonderfully humorous you are...and how much your posts make me smile.
You are a terrific girl, gurl! I love the fuzzy slippers....and I'm going to ignore both names that you and hubby call each other, because I can tell that they are said with love....or the fuss would certainly continue! :))) You are the best...Hugs and love to you from Jackie

Hi Maria,
I have found myself daydreaming about hot tubs a lot lately. Some nice smooth jazz in the background, a glass of wine and a pain free husband! Well a girl can dream can't she? Love Di

Howdy Wanda,
Yes that is the extent of the arguments anymore. After we call each other the name we usually end up laughing! Not so in the first three years, oh my did we fight!

Hello Jackie,
The b words are used only in extreme instantes. As I told Wanda, we usually end up laughing after we call each other the names. Learning the fine art of arguing with ones spouse, priceless!

I should of learned from Eileen, I just spit out my juice laughing at your post....what a wonderful sense of humor you have. I am still laughing. I have tried to cut and past onto a new post and it ended up on the front page of my blog.....duh!
So sorry Jake is still in pain, I understand how you feel so helpless as I would like to be able to help and can't but I am praying that he will heal soon....take care of yourself my friend...luv you....:-) Hugs

Well you had me chuckling right from the picture on down to the end...you did a much cuter and entertaining take on this than I did and I love it!

Now I am rewording part of it, of course and saying that the 'b' words are bad baby (you) and badder boy (Jake)...keeping this family rated, you know.

So sorry that Jake is having such a rough time with the darn shingles...have you tried candied ginger or ginger capsules for the pain? You can find them in any health store (and maybe else where), the candied ginger worked the fastest for me but it's a little potent tasting...but the sciatica pain allowed me to try anything!! Will be keeping him in prayer and you too sweetie pie.

blessings and healing hugs,

Hi Di,
I see we have much in common - black slippers, coffee lovers, drinkers of red wine, and both desperate for a hot tub... Funny Lady you are! I hope Jake's shingles fade soon - I have heard that it is like having a nerve exposed - soooo painful.
Take care both of you!
