This is just a quick post this evening to let everyone know that we are ready for Kate's surgery tomorrow. We are to report to the hospital at 7:30 a.m. Katie is doing fine and doesn't appear to be nervous at all.
My husband Jake got home last night and will be home until Thursday, possibly Friday. I haven't had much time to visit everyone and for this I apologize. I will visit after Katie gets home and I have time to relax.
The main reason for this post tonight is to thank you all so much for your prayers. I am so grateful for each and every prayer.
I will do another post as soon as I can letting everyone know how my girl is doing.

Good Luck Katie, will be keeping you in my heart and prayers and I know you will be just fine. So glad your mom is there and dad is home with you as well. Let them spoil you okay.

Hi, Di. Now that my own medical crisis is over and has been "back-burnered," I finally got over here to read. Now I see I should have some over sooner to see what is going on in your life. I'm sure Katie is doing beautifully. It is not easy to watch your child undergo even the smallest of surgeries, I know that. I hope everyone is home and tucked in now. Prayerful thoughts for all of you. :)

I guess "break a leg" would not be appropriate for this theatre of operation, but I guess you get my point. :)
I'll look forward to hearing of the success of Katie's surgery. I pray that this will indeed take a concern off your mind (although I know there will probably be a few days of discomfort Katie and extra care needed from you....) Glad Jake could be home for a couple of days to support.
